Hottche Restaurant in Dormagen

We ordered food there on Christmas Day and New Year's Eve. * That was super delicious * 5 stars for that alone. A big thank you again in the difficult time at the moment.

Very poor wi-fi signal in my room. No heater and outside it's below 0 c°. The food is not good at all and due to corona lockdown there's not many available options. Staff is top. Really good people. Room cleaning is also very good. No minibar or coffee machine in the room. Parking lot is good. Location is also good.

We had ordered goose for Christmas Day (2 whole geese with red cabbage and dumplings and sauce, baked apples and chestnuts) It was so fantastic, so delicious, never eaten better geese. Very, very tasty. All family members ate with relish. The employees were super nice and everything was perfect. Thanks again for the delicious food. Who reads this: You have to order, with delivery or collection, great.

That they switched to delivery services at this difficult time is a good thing. It is less good if you cannot rely on this service. Be it that the food was only delivered lukewarm, because the delivery service stood at the gate for too long. Instead of calling when he drives off. Not the specified enclosures are attached. There are indefinable sauces that don't taste good. Not adhering to speeches, although the order was repeated "umpteen" times on the telephone. With subsequent delivery min. a side dish was missing. And all of this for a proud price. It's a shame, unfortunately just missed the target.

We tried the "out-of-home" service today. Goose leg and goose breast complete. The food was ready to be picked up on time, very hot. Very nice service. Even after 15 min. Car ride is still hot enough, and very, very tasty. Highly Recommended. Tomorrow again

I'm here because of my job (assembly). Since we have the lockdown again, it is all the more worth mentioning. You try and manage to feel comfortable here as a guest and to be happy to come here after your shift ... Respect, praise and recognition

Rooms are really warm otherwise good hotel food is top

The food in the restaurant is a disaster ... It lacks any culinary art. We were already there at the opening and it was world class. The food was delicious - the chef understood his trade. Today the same food is still offered, but without any sophistication. The sauce was pretty sure powder. At least it looked like that. We went there this summer and just disappointed with the restaurant.

Kind regards, but poor WiFi, very minimalist breakfast, no coffee or kettle in the room! A bit disappointed...

Best everything great.

We ordered a menu for delivery yesterday. Everything was delivered on time and packed separately. The quality of the food left nothing to be desired and the quantities were extremely generous, not to say generous! Everyone is deliciously full! In any case, food and delivery service is highly recommended! 😊

I can't imagine a nicer end to my wife Corinna Michaelis's birthday. Exquisite dishes, venison goulash with homemade spaetzle and a wonderfully crispy pork knuckle with fried potatoes, plus mozzarella with tomato and the great ham with jam, all dishes are delicious and delivered directly to the house in generous portions, you have to be thrilled. Today we tested the delivery service. The food was on time as advertised. Very tasty and super packaged Gladly again 😌. PS: The pancakes were served on the house

Old, musty flair - unfortunately the food is also rather mixed convenience food without a spark of whistle or attention to detail.

Spontaneously over for a meal and from the start friendly and courteous staff. The food came very quickly and it was fresh and delicious, after that we wanted to pay but a dessert was brought over for free and after that the service was still very friendly and nice. Will come more often!

With "a little" delay, here is my feedback: A good 35 years ago my family and I were with you to celebrate my 30th birthday. From the total range of "Romantic Hotels" at the time, I chose Dormagen because you can easily reach them from Düsseldorf and the entire Rhine-Ruhr area. Since it was a "smoking / black-tie event", we carefully planned the process in a preliminary discussion with your event manager at the time. Then everything went fine - and a happy little company dispersed to the winds the next morning. There is one point deduction, although you could not influence it. The event took place on 3./4. January, so we were the only guests after the holidays. A little more life around us would certainly have been a more pleasant atmosphere. In the event of a possible renewed visit to your "hostel", I will probably plan the appointment better. We wish your entire black and white team continued success!

We were there for a wedding Everything was great. Despite the mask, the staff was very friendly and careful. The food was excellent. The drinks were great.

Good and very friendly staff! Large parking lot and good German restaurant. Room was a bit older but bathroom was new and slept very well. Breakfast was very easy because of Corona ...

A very nice hotel. The rooms are clean and nice. A large part of it has been renovated. The owners are very nice and helpful, especially the pretty daughter. Breakfast was plentiful with fruit. Unfortunately the check-in was a bit slow, but you could park for free in the large parking lot or underground car park. If you stay in Dormagen, then here. Nearby is the historic old town of Zons.

I like this hotel very much. I come here every time I return back for job from Italy. Good rooms and staff! The owner is very sympathetic and generous.

Overpriced, we were given a price of €109 for a double room, dog and parking, which went up to €134 when we had unpacked the car and went back to pay. When entering our room the carpet was stained, there was a big cobweb, the double bed was two single beds pushed together with two single quilts and a huge damp patch on the wall. This is not what you expect for €134. Such a shame as hate to leave a bad review. Staff were polite, bathroom was lovely and breakfast was nice. Would not stay again.

Internet is useless, really slow, can''t get the coverage on the room (asked on the reception and it's because there is lots of guests). So the water will be also limited? Or the electricity? Come on, speed it up! The carpets in the rooms are heavily stained, the TV doesn't have good reception, there are hiccups every few seconds. The bathroom looks good, it's nice and clean.

Very nice, well maintained rooms, decent breakfast buffet, Friendly staff. Wifi is ok, but requires frequent re-authentication . Lots of nearby restaurants and pubs. As usual for Germany, no A/C. Nice big TV's too.

I have been here due to a business trip. The hotel is not my kind of style but fits in the tipical German style. Old style room but updated bathroom. Wifi was frustrating. If you don't use your phone or laptop for a while you need login all over again.

Very good hotel in a good location. Rooms are nice and the bathrooms seem to have been recently renovated. The rest of the room is very dark and old. Morning breakfast was good.

The place is very comfortable, silent in the night. Good restaurant and very nice people.

I booked into this hotel without knowing anything about it, and was pleasantly surprised. It has a lot of car parking, including an underground garage, and the room was comfortable, although not enormous. I was delighted that it had a bath rather than just a shower! It turned out to be a family owned business of some antiquity, the original guest house still part of the now much larger business. The building has been expanded sympathetically. I am impressed that the hotel runs a shuttle bus. Breakfast was good, the evening meals traditional and very German.
